Anjum Khanna – Crohn’s Disease causes inflammation of your digestive tract, which can prompt abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss and malnutrition. Basically, It is a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBS). IBS is a disorder that involves chronic inflammation of your digestive tract. Crohn’s Diseases and Ulcerative colitis are part of IBS. Sometimes sometimes leads to life-threatening complications. For Crohn’s disease, therapies can reduce its signs and symptoms. In Ayurveda, Crohn’s is known as “Grahani Disease”. Crohn’s disease is mostly caused by due to unhealthy dietary choices, excessive intake of food particles which are difficult to digest, intake of foods that cause allergy, intake of foods low on nutrients, overeating, eating at irregular intervals, spicy junk food and acidic food and other physical and mental factors like emotional problems, stress etc.
